At some point internally, PHP converts function and class names to their lowercase equivalent. According to this page, Turkish has two forms of the letter “i”, which are apparently not interchangeable.
This all, of course, means that any function or class with a capital “i” in it’s name will appear undefined when using a Turkish locale. Fun!

So today, the committee was elected for the Group Exhibition project of Semester 2. Matt collected class votes via e-mail and reported Jessi, Anna, Andrew, Tahlia and James as the winning finalists. Other group roles aren’t clear at this point, but my blood ran cold after I was appointed to serve as the team’s record-keeper (or rather, the “serial blogger”).
